An aspiring artist, Bungo, falls in love with a married, much older opera diva – the well-known femme fatale, Mrs. Akne. She, in turn, sighs at the peculiar salon visitor who treasures the company of beautiful women and is unable to be faithful to only one of them. Everything happens during a ball in a mountain villa, where alcohol, drugs and a feverish atmosphere make reality resemble madness.
