“The house under the eternal pen” [1945-1986] is a documentary about the life of Polish intellectuals, gathered together after the war under one roof of a tenement house in Krakow at ul. Krupnicza 22, during the period of the bleak PRL. The film tells the story of this house and the fate of its inhabitants – writers [m.in. Gałczyński, Kisielewski, Poświatowska, Szymborska, Różewicz, Mrożek], tossed by the winds of history and divided, as only Poles can be divided, yet living with (d) worthily under one roof.
